Yesterday I finished another playthrough of FF6. I play it every few years, but I was very high for the duration this time, and I found it easier to take my time and fully explore the game mechanics. I developed a new appreciation for Gau.
I know there are ROM hacks and other ways to add more content, but I don't feel the same motivation to play once the story is done with.
I've written a whole stand up comedy bit on how stupid cars are but the local comedy club closed during COVID and it's just sitting there empty and unused.
Go for it! I dipped my toe in recently and found it very rewarding. Aseprite is an easy-to-use program specifically for pixel art/spritesheets, and it's available for free (if you can figure out how to compile it yourself).
