The original Blood Omen is one of those games that swung for the fences but didn't quite make it. It's clunky and ugly in places, but you gotta respect its scope and ambition. It's worth playing to appreciate those parts of it.

I missed the deets on this thread the first time around, but it's strange that the Factorio dev turned out to be like that. I'd heard that the game never went on sale out of respect for people who'd already bought it and thought, oh, this dev sounds alright. Shows what I know.
