Listen here Jack it's just a jump to the left and then it's y'know the thing to the thing and Jack you'd better see those hands on your hips and so y'know we're gonna just come on and bring it in tight
Self-diagnosed autistic, formally diagnosed with ADHD. After a couple of years without work I've managed to barely land back on my feet with a decent steady job. But I'm very lucky to have had family to fall back on financially, and would have been far worse off otherwise. There's been a lot of alcoholism and depression in my family history too. So I absolutely consider autism a disability, but a barely manageable one.
I spent almost 2 years looking, then I lucked out and found out that my old job from about 20 years ago was open again. My old boss was even still there. I'd probably still be looking otherwise.
I used to resist controllers in favour of mouse+keyboard, because I used to play so many FPS's and I felt like was never able to play them properly with a controller. But I spent too long dismissing Dark Souls because I'd only tried it with K&M, and as soon as I used a conventional PS2-style controller I immediately fell in love with the game.
I have a Retroid Pocket 2. It was a great purchase (about 100 USD or so). But it took a bit of effort to get it running, and I'm sure I still haven't used it to its fullest potential.
I'd still highly recommend it, but if you're hoping for a Game Boy style "play it right out of the box" experience, you might be let down. I had to do a bit of research.
I thought it was for doing a Third Impact
