After testing a bunch I am now using HERE WeGo maps a lot. Less detailed on local shops and restaurants but has some reviews, opening hours etc Has great route planning including for bike and public transport.

More free would be CoMaps but that’s really mostly grey’s mapping and turn-by-turn and very little info on shops apart from them existing.

This is why most of the world literally laughs about the US. Civilized countries have long removed finance from the worries you have when getting into an accident.

Knowing the latest developments in “world models” that you can use to walk around in VR and interact with the world, I think it only a matter of time until GTA or similar games adopt that tech over manually layouting and skinning their worlds.

I seriously don’t even understand why people are excited about this game.

I played the first Outer Worlds on GamePass. I love SciFi and really enjoyed the setting. But it got so bland and predictable quite quickly that I dropped it. I picked up Witcher 3 soon after and loved that game even though I’m not a big Fantasy person. I finished the main story plus a bunch of side quests and still recommend it to people today. How people play these two games and still find Outer Worlds fun is beyond me.

Absolutely this. Essential food should not be expensive. Meat, especially red meat, should be quite expensive and something you only eat rarely

Okay, I don’t want to get into the entire thing why exploiting oil sands is clearly not a necessity and maybe a pretty terrible idea. I agree Europe imports way too many fossil fuels. But switching to alternatives with less reliance on others is clearly a more sustainable strategy.
