Alice, looking behind the curtain, redraw

I couldn't get my brain to do what I wanted to draw. That happens when you are trying to create something that hasn't existed before. So I thought "what if I drew something that already exists?" How close could I get to an absolutely recognizable work? Can I do it without messing it up? Can I do it without fixing the "errors" in the original that no one notices unless they are not right in the head?

Do you copy the signature of the original as credit?
