Snikket v Cheogram apps

I just saw the Snikket app appear in F-Droid. As a JMP subscriber, I have a Snikket instance that I currently use with Cheogram. I mostly use it as a person-to-person message app; I am attached to one other person's group on another server, and I don't use groups on my own server. My instance just hosts a handful of accounts.

Is there a use case that would push me toward the Snikket app?
