This is what it's like trying to get a US visa as a Chinese citizen

What an absolute farce. If even someone who is married to a US citizen has this much trouble getting in, on top of having all your devices searched now when you enter the US, why does anyone even bother at all? Just to go there and risk getting shot or assaulted by some racist asshole or thrown into an ICE concentration camp?

I wouldn't go to the US if you paid me ten grand to do it. Especially if i lived in a country as large and diverse as China where you can travel for ten years and not have any trouble finding something new and interesting to see every week. Just go to Russia man, it's a massive place and they have visa free entry for Chinese citizens now.
