A second Project Zero II/Fatal Frame II remake got announced

I was worried Koei Tecmo had shelved the series again after the radio silence since the release of the Mask of the Lunar Eclipse remaster a few years back, but this is a pleasant surprise- I was expecting they were going to do another cheap remaster of the Wii remake of Project Zero 2 since it ran on the same engine as Mask of the Lunar Eclipse.

Yes, this is the second remake of Project Zero 2. I personally would've preferred a remake of the first game but I'm just happy the series back at all and with a "new" game to boot. No gameplay footage at all, but I'm expecting fixed camera angles not to return since they got rid of those the first time they remade the game

I just hope they don't "modernise" the game too much. The two games after the PS2 trilogy were already linear and dumbed down to a ridiculous degree. Seeing Team Ninja's name doesn't inspire too much confidence, but from what little you can see from the trailer the ridiculous anime fan service shit from Maiden of Black Water seems mercifully absent
