My grandparents showed up totally unannounced today.

I had fears that this would happen at one point or another.

Just as a reminder, this old comment explains our situation.

I've been done talking to them for nearly 2 years now, but they decided to violate this boundary today, despite me making it clear that I've blocked them and no longer wish to talk to them.

I had to deal with the awkwardness of seeing them after not having seen them in AGES and, in the process, get weird comments about how I look different (due to me transitioning).

They did this just to "check on me" and ask how I'm doing.

I'm utterly disgusted.

In the past, I've constantly held fears that they would violate this boundary, but with more and more time, I got more confident that they finally got the idea... that was until today.

I don't know what else to say. I simply am just kind of shocked.
