No one was quoted in the article as saying that this would stop Trump. Are you saying it’s a bad thing that a community is standing up against this injury to the working class?
I’m not sure what you’re referring to. The MN 15 are starting their hearings soon. The person sentenced to 30yrs for moving zines is not from Minnesota, but their appeal will likely take a while before it’s reversed for being an obvious violation of the first amendment
I’m telling you it will do nothing, if anything they’ll just join the prison population, stop deflecting from the ineffectiveness of your little demonstrations, the french rioted for months when they raised the pension age limit by 5 years, Americans literally have there rights dismantled and all they can muster up is a few weeks of civil protest. You really can’t conceptualize how weak a population can be in the face of real violence, can you. There is plenty of evidence both historiclly and online of this, willful ignorance is a blindfolded not a shield.

What I’m gathering is that it’s pointless to act unless you always win. I can tell you with absolute certainty that action is always better than inaction. They already want to ship us all off to concentration camps, so any resistance is better than falling in line.
If the effects of your protest amount to nothing, your already in line. You need to go further or nothing will ever happen, athoritarian/fascists have never given up power without the courcion of violence also being applyied, this is a fact. Please tell me, one of the activists that was a part of the Minneapolis anti-ICE movement and an experienced union organizer, more about how not falling in line is actually falling in line.
Was it the same guy that died? Did you riot or speak retribution after, did you vandolise the assets or portfolios of those above and respocible for they’re order, stop deflecting.
