Video Games Plus, a gaming retailer based out of Canada, and an independent gaming retailer known as Loot Box Gaming have both stated that they won’t be selling GTA 6.
Not huge retailers in the grand scheme of things, but interesting to see at least some taking a stand especially when they are almost certainly losing out on money by doing so.
Yall are boring, them raising the price is greedy but 10$ is not a big deal, most games yall buy digitally without a second thought since they are only available for sale online, this gta 6 hate just seems perfomative, I’m buying it day 1 and will likely get more than 1$ an hour of enjoyment out of it.
Yeah I was expecting a much worse price. Unfortunately I’m not ready to update my console yet, so I won’t buy on release like I did with V. But you can bet I’ll get it as soon as I upgrade.
To the people complaining about the stories in GTA games:
Rockstar made Red Dead 2. Great characters. Great story. Great writing. You haven’t played VI yet, the story could be awesome.
Some people just like to have fun. I play loads of story-focused games, narrative based, lore-rich, all types. But it’s still fun to drive around and shoot shit while listening to silly fake radio stations sometimes. Not everything has to be a thought-provoking artistic experience. Give me sticky bombs and a rock/punk station and I’ll be happy for hours.
Yes it’s overhyped. But it will be fucking awesome nonetheless
Not a chance I buy it at relase, I’ve been burned too much preodering, but I likely will buy it week 1 if it’s anything like gta 5 and rdr2. Hoping there are so many shops/cosmetics that the ultimate edition issue is overblown.

They genuinely just hate the game, I get not liking it because it means other AAA games not worth 80$ will copy and it may become the new baseline price or being mad they took out clothes, shops, etc. to sell as day 1 dlc with the ultimate edition, but they are all acting like they aren’t remotely interested in the GTA brand and always hated the games lol…
I’m still buying it, maybe a week after launch, but yeah I’m definitely not a fan of cosmetics being locked behind another paywall. Elden ring and bg3 are my favorite games because you earn all the cosmetics and there are a ton of optione.
