The original is fine. And for the time it was revolutionary. It was a technical achievement, partly sponsored by Steve Jobs when he was in exile from Apple.
The sequels are kind of mediocre though.
They are popular which is why they keep making them.
Japan has been running circles around Disney for years. Disney still puts out quality work though.
I think it’s hard to believe niw a days just how revolutionary tge first toy story movie was. Like people in tge industry didn’t believe such a thing would be possible. When they showed test footage, tom hanks chin was on the floor. Not even the final product, just a shittier version that a 12 year old coule make on a tablet these days.
