Source: it’s day 3 of 10 of vacation with a bunch of friends, and we are at a waffle house in a red state until we figure out where to go next

Unspecified ‘safety violations’ which they categorically refuse to share with us, so basically we’ve been robbed at gunpoint by airbnb and a landlord

Airbnb support is the one who told us to get out host has been ghosting us for 2 days, and airbnb support is just siding with them and refusing to give us information

Unrelated, the maoist uprising against the landlords was the largest and most comprehensive in history

Edit: When I posted this I expected most of the comments to be razzing on landlords but most comments have just been folks giving advice and trying to help, y’all really are so sweet Care-Comrade

All is well we are fine and the situation is going to be resolved dw about that

That said roast landlords more, people! (And me too for using treats that’s fine too)

Friends like shootings guns, in rural areas airbnb is a great option (or was for years until this) for target shooting off the deck etc (which is always part of the application process we always get it approved before anything else, all legal and kosher)

Not really viable through a hotel, plus honestly the price for 13 people in a hotel comparatively is not even close

If it was a trip planned by me we would just stay home and not work for the 10 days and smoke weed and watch movies, but the shooting and isolation in nature are the selling points in the group
