Understandable. I rarely use the TV, we have a cinema-room with beamer and speakers to eliminate this nasty problem.
If only the TV, you could still install kodi there to watch your stuff with some compression. Or some other app.
If you can’t install anything, then you’re stuck with external speakers that offer that.

I already have Kodi on my media server - although currently it’s…under construction
Hmm…not sure, if I had the same problem there.
Will need to revive it anyway.
