The law only says teachers must come from a native English-speaking country, the big 5: Canada, UK, USA, South Africa and Australia. Twenty yuan says this requirement isn’t from Chinese people, it’s for some school for children of racist diplomats. Beijing is just the worst.

When you’re a teacher, you work when the kids are at school. You don’t even clock in, it’s facial scan on the gate into school.

Because the parents are at work and school is glorified daycare and patriotic programming.

can’t tell how ironic you’re being here but it sounds miserable. i guess it wasn’t that different for kids whose parents both worked when i was growing up but that was in the US, not a country that’s supposedly trying to be a nice place to live
To give parents the ability to work and to brainwash the kids with patriotism is why compulsory schooling was invented in the first place. We all had to say the pledge of allegiance every day. They’re trying to get rid of it but AmeriKKKans won’t have it.
thankfully there are no parents who work outside the hours of 7:30 - 17:30
