It means essentially pursuing a glow-up or make-over. Except it’s part of a subculture that teaches that only beautiful people get love and respect. Very man-oriented (probably why they’re too afraid to use normal words like glow up or make over).

    Looks maxxer glossary:

    • Hunter Eyes; narrow, almost aggresive-looking eyes with a positive canthal tilt (angled upwards instead of downwards or neutral)
    • Mogging; make someone look worse by comparison by being better looking than you. E.g “Clavicular was brutally framemogged by an ASU frat leader!”

    Famous/infamous looksmaxxing influencers include:

    • Clavicular, who has been in the news for shooting a crocodile(?) hitting a stalker with his car, harassing women at nightclubs and recording it all - one time he asked a woman to slap him then got her thrown out of the club after she followed up.
    • Clavicular has plastic surgery or bone surgery or something because he used to have very misaligned eyes. I think he is also an advocate of “bone-smashing” - causing fractures in your facial bones so that they will come back more prominent (literally handsome squidward from SpongeBob).
    • Androgenic, the guy in the video thumbnail, who wears a hat everywhere on camera because he has extensive hair loss. So his looksmaxxing journey is seeking hair transplants and trying to get as buff as possible.

Wikipedia excerpt for you on Clavicular:

In February 2026, a tweet describing Peters as having been “brutally frame mogged” by an Arizona State University fraternity leader in a video became a copypasta and meme.[10] The term jestermaxxing, used to describe having fun, also spread online that month due to its use in video captions of Peters dancing at the club.[44][3] The suffixes -mogging and -maxxing and the incel term foid, a shortening of the portmanteau femoid, which describes women as subhuman, found popular usage online by February 2026 due to these and other memes of Peters.
