Part of me wonders about the trade-offs of expending the effort to fully automate absolutely everything versus the benefit of a limited run on that manufacturing line.

Like if you’re only making three cars of a model, does it make sense to automate the task that is unique to that model?

I’m not saying this is wrong, I just wonder if there’s a reason it seems to be unique, even in China.
