Shut up nerd

This comment has the certified correct opinion
Central planning when done by governments: 😡
Central planning when done by private monopolies: 😃
Capitalist logic
It’s a pretty good experience, but I will say that KDE’s stylus calibration leaves much to be desired. Windows lets you add as many calibration points as you desire through a comment. KDE on Wayland doesn’t support non linear calibration yet.

Where I live, you don’t get any compensation whatsoever unless you have to spend more than like 5 days or something, and it only kicks in for time spent after that point.
“Workers” are the people who work the most. And who works harder than the CEOs? /s

Observation in quantum mechanics isn’t like everyday observation. There is no passive observation, you have to interact with a particle to observe it. It’s like putting your hand in front of the hose to see if it’s on. You can see from the spray pattern that when the hose is “observed” the pattern changes.

Part of me wonders about the trade-offs of expending the effort to fully automate absolutely everything versus the benefit of a limited run on that manufacturing line.
Like if you’re only making three cars of a model, does it make sense to automate the task that is unique to that model?
I’m not saying this is wrong, I just wonder if there’s a reason it seems to be unique, even in China.

I mean I cook in quantities that aren’t restaurant quantities so my meat thaws pretty quick but that’s fair

I feel like if ten minutes at tepid is enough to promote enough bacterial growth to cause illness, you shouldn’t have eaten it in the first place
If the room has no windows, the light will turn into heat with 100% efficiency.
The user you’re talking to is way too unaccepting of counterarguments but I do find it funny how in one comment you’re talking about elitism and then in another you say all the high end restaurants use gas

If it takes 155 people to make a cup of coffee, assuming it’s $3 and minimum wage is $7.25, then on average every person involved has to have spent less than 10 seconds on their individual contribution to have been fairly compensated (if $7.25/hr can even be considered fair compensation).
Of course, it’s not like anyone involved is specifically dedicating 10 seconds to this one cup, no they’re making batches. But even still, ten seconds is so very short.
Of course, we already knew almost everyone in the chain is being exploited.
Management is hoping LLMs improve to replace senior developers before it becomes a problem

It also makes it harder for victims of sexual assault to use word filters to hide posts about topics they find triggering.
Mfw fast fashion is somehow ok for the environment because it’s China doing it.
I get not shitting on China for no reason like the imperialists do, but glazing China for things that are still obviously bad is a wild take. Fuck fast fashion and fuck this comment. Consumerist apologist slop.
