After visiting the island, she says the healthcare system is under severe strain: shortages of medicine and basic supplies, limited resources and constant blackouts that disrupt patient care.
According to Renee, these restrictions are harming ordinary people and making medical treatment increasingly difficult. “People are not being saved. People are being harmed,” she says. “If we really supported human rights in the United States, Cuba wouldn’t be in this situation.”

“If it’s true that it is the Cuban government that is causing the problems, then lift the blockade, let the oil in and let’s see what happens,” she says.
If Cuba wants Americans to care about the blockade they will need to invent a time machine and go back to when they tried to help Russia nuke the US.
So they actually go through with it instead? Idk, might make the average American stop seeing themselves as set apart from the world but could have caused some pretty bad side effects.

The point i was dancing around is that no one cares about the missile crisis. Americans generally don’t even acknowledge the world outside of themselves exists, I’d be willing to bet most wouldn’t even know about what we’ve done in Cuba.

America definitely cares about the missle crisis.
They definitely acknowledge Russia attacking Ukraine.
The reason they care about both is because of Russia’s history of aggression.
