And This is how we have experienced illegal first Mays, in which going out to the streets meant not knowing if they would return home; first of May that were not holidays but in which the working class called general strikes; also other massive ones in which the mobilizations marked a before and after in the achievement of great objectives of the workers’ movement. There were May 1s all over the world where the ferocious repression of the bourgeoisie prevented mobilizations with blood and fire; at the same time as others in which thousands of workers celebrated their strength in calls in each country…
