    Anyone know what this one means?

    Amazingly, looking at the Disqus and other threads (there’s a colorized one on Facebook from February), no one seems to know wtf it means.

    Someone mentions that a “Flanagan” is traditionally a character that messes things up, so maybe that’s it?

      I think the joke is: Sometimes you gotta take a stance… But maybe choose when and where better (obviously in an isolated encampment when there’s just the two of you might not be the best time to go off at someone you have to get along with to survive).

      My best guess is that they went camping together deep in the jungle and spent a long time alone in wilderness survival. But through all that, the unnamed guy on the left had never told Flannegan how much he’s always hated him (“there, I’ve said it…”).
