    I dont know about Grégoire specifically, but the French PS is not socialist, despite their name. That’s a remnant of the past, they are a centre, centre left party.

      Socialist in Europe and North America carry different meanings. In America, socialism is equivalent to far left. It’s not generally the case for the rest of the world.

        Oh no, that’s what socialist means, it’s just that the label has been emptied of all substance by power-driven parties that gave up on enacting in depth, courageous change years ago.

        But, like all organisations, they are heterogeneous, so some people can be good and interesting.
