I was thinking last night, I’m over draft age, but if this goes the way of uKKKraine, they’re going to be grabbing 40-somethings off the street to die for pissrael.
It’s a great example of how war is one big way capitalism can deal with its own contradictions. You can remove excess product due to overproduction, create new markets from all the destruction, remove some of the excess reserve army of labor so they don’t revolt at home, etc.
It’s an awful, horrible way to deal with these contradictions of course and another reason socialism is way better.
