It’s not like he wasn’t involved. They put themselves at massive liability by publishing his leaked sex tape then refusing to take it down. I can certainly believe thiel had alternative motives, but the fact that he bankrolled the lawsuit isn’t relevant to the merits of the lawsuit.
Also pretty fucked that they did that after taking such a hard stance against the fappening.
