I agree. But I’d like to zoom out a little more. This is not even good news, but irrelevant clickbait, wasted time. Useless information screaming for our attention, frying our brains.
Every new day of (rather moderate, I’m fine) doomscrolling brings me closer to quitting all this. Throwing rocks in a pond is a more real experience than watching ads to watch a clip about some random thing that might have happened somewhere. What are we even doing, this is a trap!
