Is that some quite fat pen you’re using?
It looks to me like graphite, you can expose more lead in a pencil using a knife and then use it kind of “sideways”. There are also like pure graphite “pencils” that you can find in art stores that allow for this type of fat stroke.
Many possibilities for sure!
The hair looks like it could have been made by a classic HB pen with a stubby nose. Interesting lines.
This Is exactly what I did, it’s a 2B pencil sharpened with a box cutter.
