I spent an entire afternoon talking with family on our patio before someone pointed out that my elbow had been ~6 inches from a black widow the size of a 50¢ coin the entire time. I had never seen such a big widow in my life and I grew up clearing out black widows from our breaker box and wood shed constantly.
