When I lived in Japan a long time ago I bought Prince of Peace tea. I bought it here in the US recently and I don’t care for it much. I don’t know if it’s different in Japan or my tastes changed.

What “untraditional” tea do you like?

Is there a brand of ginseng tea you like?
Non traditional being relative of course…
I really like some citron tea once in a while. It’s kind of like a marmalade that you mix with water. But it’s made of a fruit called citron that has a distinctive and delicious taste different than oranges, lemons or limes. Can be hot or cold.
It also goes well with liquor if you are so inclined.
No specific brand; I just buy whatever I can can find. Never met a jar I didn’t like.
Also, an old hippie taught me to make a nettle drink where you put nettle plant (fresh or dried leaves/plant, but not tea bags) in a jar of boiling water then leave it over night to soak. I drink it cold or room temp. Has a delightful earthy taste.

I’m definitely going to look into that.
I make ginger tea every so often
Just boil a hunk of ginger in water until it turns golden, then add a little honey
Good for the digestive system
Tadin makes a mix of “Bronco Té” which is one of my favorites.
That sounds really intriguing.
With distinct eucalyptus leaf and ginger root, along with peppermint leaf work in harmony to deliver a refreshing and uplifting tea.
I’m going to get groceries delivered today or tomorrow but my local supermarket isn’t hip enough to have that. Maybe I’ll splurge and get it online.
It’s actually a Latin American grocery that I get it from.
