My players killed a BBEG, who was a worm that walks. When reduced to 0 hp, the worms scatter and you’re supposed to do an AoE attack to kill them and prevent the bbeg from reforming.
They had an alchemist with fire bombs but the druid opted to turn into an anteater instead and eat the BBEG lol
Waste not want not, right?
Reminds me of a storyline in Guild Wars 2 (spoilers ahead):
HUGE Guild Wars 2 living world season 4 (?) spoiler
One major antagonist named Joko is a lich, meaning he is kinda unkillable. During the story he is eaten by a major character, a dragon named Aurene. This ensures that he is truly dead. Earlier in the story he already died once and resurrected.
Later on Aurene even resurrects using his power because she ate him.
Braham’s loud ass nervous laugh screaming Praise Joko will live in my head forever.
do you get HP for that
It would be really funny if they weren’t expecting it to
The druid at my table 100% would do this just because they can. If I ruled that they can get hp from it, it would’ve been a bonus surprise to them lol
“Wow, cool. How many additional HPs did I get?”
adding up calorie intake
“Two.”
