Twelve years after it was constructed, the New Yalu River Bridge between China and North Korea is finally operational. It is the latest sign of warming ties between the two nations.

    Alright my take on this is that its beneficial to bringing North Korea into the 21st century. Should China decide to take on the monumental task of modernizing NK.

    In a scenario where NK is liberated from their government there would be a large population of people with no practical understanding of the world today.

    Hopefully this increase in trade, brought to the by this policy, can change the trajectory of that possibility.
