What about the actions now, the ones being discussed? Arresting the very same protesters who helped elect him under his own campaign promises? Co-celebrating religious festivals is one thing. But these are Zionist groups, who are not the de facto role model/generally accepted representatives of Judaism, by any meaningful metric. Their genocidal tendency is what makes them Zionist, it cannot be “cleaned up,” that would make then Zionist no more.
