I’m not sure, but my version of Voyager isn’t doing it.
There is another thread, the developer said it has to do with a Piefed update and they hope they will fix it on their side.
Yeah. I probably should have waited to post and looked it up. My bad. I saw that post.
Im not so sure that is the case though. I am unable to reproduce it on nord.pub. Perhaps it has to do with some instance setting.
Been happening to me too for the last few weeks.
Would love to have a fix for this. I’m on iOS, was like this on Voyager on iOS 26.6, 27 and 27.2.
I don’t think the people in this thread or others like it are correct in blaming this on PieFed. I just tried to replicate this issue on several different PieFed instances and everything worked as expected. Plus, the other two posts I see about this issue both were made by users from Lemmy instances (slrpnk and db0).
Here is what I tested and everything worked fine:
- Voyager version: 2.49.1
- Android version: 17
Instances tried
Instance PieFed Version Status piefed.social 1.7.17 ✅ Works piefed.ca 1.7.13 ✅ Works crust.piefed.social 1.8.0-dev ✅ Works quokk.au PyLova 0.3.3 (PieFed fork) ✅ Works For me, I think i noticed this once I updated iOS to 27 - didn’t see patterns whether this is tied to certain instances or not.
Because some people are actually too stupid to use the internet, but still use it anyway.
Too*
I fail to see how that is relevant.
If you had been around as long as I am, you would see it, too.
