Watterson is an unappreciated genius. Reading his Wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Watterson ), I’m reminded that Calvin & Hobbes only ran for ten years). It says a lot about Watterson that he ended the strip at its peak.

Probably caught it in the funny pages back in the day, mostly all I read for younger years from the paper. Few things better than Calvin and Hobbes.

Also years later the Robot Chicken bit with them was awesome. Fantastic satire/spoof on the idea.
