Of course they are. China is the only global superpower not squandering their future on stupid wars. Instead, they are strengthening their future by helping the others squander theirs.

China said they cannot allow Russia to lose.

Why does the West not decouple from China right now? What are we waiting for? It will be rough but won’t get any easier.

Even if EU countries were willing to back Ukraine to the hilt (which they aren’t), there are many ways do to so that are more effective than picking fights with China.

China is also selling all drone components to Ukraine. They just want to get busines.

They just want to get busines.

They support Russia in this war to weaken Europe (and Russia). China is a decisive supporter for Russia for a lot more than business.

In 2023, for example, Lu Shaye, then Chinese ambassador to France, publicly said that former Soviet-states such as Ukraine have “no effective status as sovereign countries”. The same ambassador is today China’s special envoy for Europe.

There is a long list of Chinese support activities for Russia that go far beyond economic issues.

Doesn’t make it better. People, animals and Terra in general dying for the sake of business is… Bad. Isn’t it?

The West can no more decouple from China than the Moon can decouple from the Earth. Even if there were no direct trading, there would still be a trade relationship through proxies. For better and worse, we are bound to each other.

So you‘re proposing to decouple from China, and make ourselves even more dependent on a USA that is actively supporting fascism worldwide, supports genocide, and coups countries if it’s helping its greedy businesses? Realpolitik left this chat long ago, right?
