You missed the point and used a very bad analogy. The problem isn’t the software itself, but in the project around it. If the fascist built that bridge once then we never saw his face again, that wouldn’t be the issue. The problem is that we are funding the fascists to build the bridge, then funding them to make repairs in it, then funding him to let him work in other projects, until he gets strong enough that he gets a seat in the city council. So, by letting him to get what he wants we slowly let him to become a permanent thing in our society/ecosystem.
