It’s the animated prequel to Train to Busan and it’s deeply critical of occupied Korea. Especially in regards to how unhoused people are treated and understood by the state and general public. Main character is a runaway forced into prostitution who got a reprieve from that life with the help of a guy who eventually tries to prostitute her for rent. If you thought Train to Busan’s protrayal of bourgeois conciousness was good you’ll love how this one portrays cops, landlords, and military. It also goes into how poverty makes working people tear eachother apart (kinda literally).
The animation is not my favorite but once you get past that the story is fire. Solid 8/10
At first glance I thought you were recommending the literal “Seoul Station”
From what I’ve read, despite its size it’s not that hard to find your way there, not like Shinjuku. Foreign tourists tend to compliment the new wayfinding in Seoul’s metro system.
Admittedly seoul station is genuinely very well made and worth checking out
