    Well, GenX and (mostly Boomers) enjoyed cheap tuition, where they could cover their year with a summer job, and they gained from the increase in tuition, which fed the loan industry and now, the economy is stunted because fewer will attempt to start businesses with a glob of post-ed debt.

      Those generations lived when communism still had to be broken and they had to make it work far cheaper. And like any capitalists does once the competition is bankrupted, they started price gouging everything
