I always liked coffee based desserts so I decided to try my hand at tiramisu. It was much easier than I expected and the results are pretty good. I will be making this more I think.

Recipes I followed:

I made this mostly for myself to try and my SO took a piece. He said it was great and gave it a 9/10. I like it a lot especially givne how easy it was.

I think it’s pretty good. I think I could be slightly thicker (ie. Higher “filling” or what ever you call the non-ladyfinger parts ratio to ladyfingers).

I honestly didnt realize that all of the coffe flavor was from dipping the ladyfingers in the espresso. I think if I made it again I would try to keep the ladyfinger in the espresso for a second longer just so they can absorb more of the espresso. I’m a huge coffe flavor lover so I would enjoy a stronger coffee taste.

Ahhh in that case I recommend this recipe. It is legendary in our household. It takes time and is worth it every time I make it.

Oh interesting. I will try that trick of brushing the coffee leftover onto the ladyfingers.

I recommend following that recipe exactly at least once. I know it’s work.

Don’t! That causes the overall consistency to be runny. If you want stronger coffee flavor, brew stronger coffee 😊

Put a bit of coffee liquor in the bottom. It pops flavor without melting the ladyfingers
