As the title says, I currently own a Fender Mustang 90 which I absolutely love. Sometimes I like to fantasize about getting a second guitar, to go with it in order to cover more tonal ground and try different things. I’m bouncing between jazzmasters, teles, starts style guitars and can’t make up my mind. So my question, what would you pick? My favourite genre is fuzz rock - so the mustang is perfect for that - but who knows I might expand my horizons

If you don’t have an acoustic guitar, I’d get one of those before getting a second electric. Even if it’s not really your style, there’s a lot to learn from playing acoustic and more electric players IMHO should spend some time learning to really truly play acoustic. Bonus that you can just leave it lying around and pick up and play whenever. I’m primarily an electric player but most of my day to day playing is in an acoustic for that exact reason.
