I (30M) have this Japanese friend (32F) who splits her time working in Japan and Canada (although she was born in Canada and we grew up together here). Right now she works at the university where I’m studying, and we meet up frequently and chat. Her usual attire is a long-sleeved top over a camisole (I’ve attached a picture of her here wearing those clothes). It gets really distracting when she’s off work and I’m walking her home and she takes off her long-sleeved top completely and just wears the cami. The last time this happened, we were arguing all the way to her door.

Grow the fuck up. Others aren’t responsible for your comfort. If you have a problem, you need to talk with a therapist and leave her alone.

If this post is even true why are you posting photos of your “friend” all over the internet? Too creepy for me.

Dude this is the weirdest thing to bring up and very inappropriate. You’re not in control of your friend’s wardrobe and besides, what are you actually implying is going to happen when she’s not as sufficiently covered as you deem fit? Additionally, and this is pretty important, did you consider whether or not she would have liked to have had her picture posted here especially in the context of the post you made? I take it you didn’t ask her? The fact that you took it for granted that you could just do that fits with a pattern where you also believe you can tell her how to dress. You’re going to need learn to better respect boundaries.

Sounds like you’re being a weirdo. Stop policing other people’s bodies and clothing, and stop acting like it’s their fault that you’re a horny loser that’s so easily “distracted.”

Sounds like you are over bearing, and have some control issues (both wanting to control others, while unable to control yourself)

I was going to be snarky, but will, instead, try to he helpful.

I’m going to ask you some questions. I don’t need the answers, but it’s important you answer them for yourself. ----

What about her cami bothers you?

Is it possible that you’re attracted to her, and her cami is bringing this feeling to the foreground?
If you didn’t know you had these feelings, they could cause irrational anxiety, which would cause the logic part of your brain to attribute a reason, which, in turn, could cause hostility towards the person that seemed to trigger the anxiety.

Is it possible that you have unresolved sexual oppression (usually, but not always, from childhood)?
This could cause “excess” skin to be misinterpretted as a personal attack.

Edit. Also, as an aside. Most people don’t appreciate having their photos publicly posted without their consent. I understand that the image an important part of your post, but I would recommend you black out her face.
