My point is that if Germany was a functional state with a ruling elite interested in a healthy wealth distribution the gini coeficcient would be more similar to that of Belgium, the Netherlands, Finland etc. and not like the bottom barrle of bad governance in the EU, like Malta, Italy or (to some extend) France.
