    ABC Muirend, a little three screen outpost on the outskirts of Glasgow, Scotland. Happy days :) Sadly it closed that same year.

    Your story checks out. There was precisely a two month period between the release of this movie and the closure of that cinema. Amazing how I can fact-check when a small cinema on the outskirts of some town in another country closed thanks to the Internet! Wikipedia where I checked was released at the beginning of the same year.

    It is indeed! I don’t know if I could have foreseen that in 2001! I didn’t even have a computer with Internet access until 2002.
