Was thinking about this in the context of a joke I heard in the late 90s:
What do you call 100 lawyers at the bottom of the sea? A good start.
We didn't we have jokes like that about the billionaires; at the time people were glazing Bill Gates. It's wild because billionaires are the ones writing the laws, lawyers just act it out.
Ehh, collective violence is different from lone wolf violence and have very different outcomes. Also the vast majority of these lone wolves follow right-wing ideology so us being pushed further to fascism is arguably their goal.
At least with dotcom and mortgages we had an assets bubble that didn't have a shelf life of 5 years. It's not like the capacity we are building now will be useful after the end of the decade
Here's the thing, if we keep doing politics that plays to people's stupidity rather than their ability to think independently then we might as well ditch democracy.
We don't know if the victim did nothing though, she talked to a detective for over 20 minutes and so far we have not seen any documents regarding that conversation. She could have even done more than you, but we should not expect her to even though that is the response of some victims, it is not a universal response.
Like being targeted for harassment and possibly get murdered? This is not a typical rape accusation, it is made against someone who has been carrying out extra-judicial murders abroad.
And I bet she took great effort to gather evidence
This is classic rape apologetics. It is not the victim's job to collect evidence while they are distressed, that's the job of the investigators.
There's another report in the files where a woman did report her rape to the police and she was later found dead with her "head blown off". Under a functional justice system that would be thoroughly investigated, under our system it was quickly ruled a suicide because she took "bad cocaine".
These papers are being released because our justice system did not protect these victims. It is up to the public to ask questions and we need not presume innocence of the powerful as they failed to protect the vulnerable.
Ehh, we don't know because where is that 20 minute conversation she had with a detective documented? Also, if the intention was to harm Trump's image or whatnot, wouldn't a media circus be where to go with the story?
But maybe if I use AI I can be wealthy. Sure it is accelerating climate change and will undoubtedly cost lives, but that is a small price to pay for me to horde money like a dragon.
I'm skeptical they could do it in a way that meaningfully inherits stability from Linux. Imagine bolting on their service control on top of systemd or map their registry system to /etc. They either bring all the bad over to Linux or write something that doesn't support the windows ecosystem.
