  • I do agree with and appreciate the nuance, it's clear from your careful wording you understand conservatism by definition doesn't have a cause to stand for, hence reactionary. It's apt in a good faith discussion.

  • Actually, I think it shows how susceptible people are to what media tells them. The word is getting out to resist and organize. Traditional media doesn't have full control, but it is working to slow the reaction down.

    Furthermore, people have a much tighter leash to their corporate overlords/sponsors, they have to be strategic about which protest (if they even have the energy).

    So yeah, it's dumb and circumstances. But we've been been engineered down this path for the past few decades, it's coming for you too.

    This country is so neutered on peace messages and frazzled in disinformation we can't even march in a single direction together.

    Everyone is one paycheck away from losing everything, and don't want to bank it on the fact that the protest they skip work for will change anything... Because so far they haven't.

    Maybe it's time to go door to door asking people to join a march to DC and every capitol?
