  • Basically a large list of countries that are victims of British Colonialism or American Imperialism or both.

  • China just flexing on us so hard as we all wonder next state will be the target of the SS troops invasion.

  • I know what you mean. The foxhole has become literally just listening to those in positions of power speaking.

  • Which is why it's important that we preserve the mountain of evidence of the Gaza genocide for our childrens children to witness the crimes against humanity that fascist ethnostate committed.

  • I meant it in terms of an insult. Not as them being actually equal. They're as subservient as the Democratic party is in terms of how their leadership bows to the interest of capital. And the interest of capital are aligned with the fascist leaders of America.

  • Sounds good to me. Just wish China would start sending us some resources to start a revolution. XI is really letting me down here.

I keep hearing about all these "paid protestors" and I just can't catch a break man. Like, please, please pay me. I'm doing this for free when there is Chinese money coming in? Where? Where are you all getting this hook up? Help me out!

  • While good. I'm suspicious of this because of my experience with how this has been implemented on other platforms.

It usually is not implemented well and gives a false sense to the user that the content is not AI.

I am much more respectful of places that communicate with their users on their current efforts to remove AI generated content and give easy methods for flagging it.

AI isn't some "tag" that everyone puts on their uploads. It's not as simple as just "banning it".

So, while I appreciate it. We'll have to see if this is just a "we banned AI" while the platform is still flooded with it. Or, if it's actually a real attempt at purging AI content from the platform. Because those are massively different things with massively different effort required.

  • Throwing the white supremacist black man under the bus. A bit of ironic justice.

  • I feel like the safe bet is to just remove anyone that is named in the Epstein files from having the ability to hold public office or a high position in any company. Sure, some collateral damage, but really, it's the only solution.

I know that would literally take a revolution and a change of government to achieve. But, we just purge everyone named in it that wasn't a clear victim.

I'm even for the extreme position that if you were a person in a powerful position and your name is listed we just put you in prison for the rest of your life. Sorry. It's my new revolutionary government and I'm making the rules. We're not risking anything. The collateral damage of some "innocent" rich people is far less concerning to me than our new society letting rich pedophiles be free.

We can be slightly unjust for a generation while we figure out our new revolutionary government.

We'll also reform prisons to not be complete shit holes where we let everyone get raped and treat them like animals. So, it won't be so bad. We'll let you read books and watch TV and shit.

  • While I appreciate this. It is accurate in what the law says. It's not really helpful beyond a point.

I think Americans need to quickly realize that their "rights" have been demoted down to the average black person. (I'd say before the civil rights movement. But really I don't think that's too much different given recent history).

The same lies and tactics used for decades will be used and justified on all of us now. And it will not stop there. That is just the first bar.

The same tactics and lack of due process is already escalating to the degree of how Israel treats Palestinians in the west bank (not that bad yet obviously). But there is a reason ICE is literally being trained by that genocidal state.

This is what we will experience. Fascism is just Imperialism turned inward.

So, while it is good to "know your rights" as it may for a time or a certain situation be helpful as a tactic. That is just quickly not making any difference anymore.

I really think we need more focus on forming forms of community resistance. "Your rights" are not going to save you. You need numbers and the pressure of your community that has your back. This is the time to get to know your neighbors and the people forming resistance in your community. That is where we are. The law, state, and your "rights" matter less each day.

  • Yeah. That needs to change.

  • At this point. I feel like we'll annex Canada before the midterms and he'll just be like "ah, can't have elections. Wouldn't be fair for the new states. We gotta delay until they are established. For fairness and such".

The useless Democrats at that point are just full fascist supporters. It sounds ridiculous but this is one of many reasons for a non election I could see occuring. Among others.

  • You and I will. This isn't even a fight if you look at numbers. The most important part is building the initial resistance that is successful enough to bring the rest of the inactive bystanders to join us. Every extra person that is a part of that matters 1000x over right now.

Your state government has abandoned you and the "papers please" will be at your door one day. Better to standup now before that happens.

Everyone is staring at the car crash right now. They are all not reacting and wondering what to do. But when that first person goes to help, everyone else moves too. You just need to realize that you are the person with enough knowledge to know that YOU are that first person. We have to do what's hard. We have to be that first person that runs alone to the car. But, know that many will follow.

  • I like to believe that too. But I also think because we always seem to compare to WW2. The clear worst people lost.

But, when looking at human history the odds of that type of win are low. Native American genocide, Armenian Genocide, the Nakba, etc.

I will try to use this a motivation to fight and resist. That's it's vital for all of us to resist. When it could be seen as doomerism. Doomerism is a means of making you not act. So, I will not do that. Let's all go get ourselves armed and touch some grass.

  • Cool. We've gotten to the point of delusion that you believe your own misunderstanding of my initial comment.

It's ok mate. You literally just didn't understand the point of my initial comment and then over the course of a back and forth you expanded on that misunderstanding to the point that you have lost all sense and are now just arguing against your own misunderstanding.

It's quite remarkable. Go reread this thread if you don't believe me. For your own sanity I'll go ahead and block you. Good luck!

  • No, I think you're dense. Because for some reason you keep avoiding that the initial comment I made was about leftist journalist and commentators.

You agreed that the majority of people are not on the platform because they follow those people. They follow non political celebrities.

    Can you not follow?

    (1) Leftist journalist and commentators primary goal is to reach normal everyday people. (2) The vast majority of normal everyday people are on Twitter (3) Those same leftist leaving the platform will do nothing to change the prominence of normal everyday people using it. Because (as we both agreed) those people are there to read non political celebrities.

Therefore, there is no meaningful reason for them to leave the platform if their goal online is to spread leftist perspectives.

So, I understand why leftist journalist and commentators remain on the platform. It is the still the best place to reach the audience they are trying to reach.

Like, you keep talking in general "if everyone leaves it will die".

I'm not, and have not ever been talking about that. You can just admit you misunderstood my initial comment instead of doubling down on your own misunderstanding.

And you keep ignoring the subgroup of people that I'm referring to and have still not proposed what leftist journalist and commentators should do instead. You're just advocating for them to have a smaller platform that only reaches people lib'd enough to only be on blue sky.

This is the problem with idealistic thought like you are engaging in. You are focusing on the moral ideas of the individual. You for some reason do not care about the actual material outcome of the actions. Again, you are advocating for virtue signaling and nothing else.

The only material outcome of a small group of commentators and journalist leaving would be that less people hear leftist ideas and news perspectives. That's it.

Well, I guess it would make YOU feel better. But, I guess that's just the way your brain works. You're stuck in a moral idealism and are not able to think about the actual material outcome you're advocating for. "The idea" of what them leaving would mean is more important to you I guess.

It's why you keep pretending a small amount of people leaving would help change Twitters monopoly. It will not. It's why you keep avoiding the fact that I'm talking about a small subset of Twitter users.

  • Again, what is your proposed alternative? That they leave the platform with the most people on it (the exact normies they are trying to reach) and...

What exactly? How are you expecting leftist propaganda and narratives reach the people.

Like, you can disagree if it's effective or not. But you have to actually offer an alternative that you believe is more effective at reaching normal people.

If you're just being critical but admitting there is no alternative then your criticism is literally just virtue signaling and useless.

Twitter popularity wouldn't even see a significant figure on the graph if leftist journalist and commentators left it. Let's not pretend them posting is "supporting Nazis".

  • Dude. The people that normal people follow to be on those platforms are celebrities, sports players, and artists. You are extremely disconnected if you think that leftist journalist and commentators are what are keeping people there. Seriously.

Are you purposely misunderstanding my comment? I literally started by saying why I understand why prominent leftist remain on it. The audience that they are trying to reach are ON TWITTER. Why would they post only to blue sky? So they can get 100 replies from radlibs telling them they should leave Twitter?

  • Yeah. Keep trying to solve the problems of capitalism with your consumption habits. That's essentially what you are advocating for.

How is understanding that you don't want to limit your audience when spreading leftist propaganda "apathetic"? I'm not talking about random individuals. I'm talking about prominent leftist journalist and commentators that still use the platform to counter right wing narratives.

Like, seriously, what is the end goal you are trying to achieve by shaming anyone still using the platform to spread leftist propaganda or counter right wing narratives. Do you really think it's better if all those people leave? Like, suddenly when an insignificant number of journalist and commentators leave the platform will fall apart? That's delusional.

Being realistic about the location of where the masses are at and how to best spread propaganda to them is not "centrist". It's being realistic about the state of media and not just leaving to virtue signal to other leftist.
