I’m on a refurb 6a, with a relatively fresh battery. I plan to hold out for the 11a, which should have a truly better modem and Tensor chip than the 9a/10a. If not, then at least I’ll have another year of updates by getting an 11a versus a 10a.
Also, I use a Supcase case, and have used the brand since 2018. Both 6as I’ve used have suffered many drops without breakage.
I’d like it Visual Voicemail would keep working when Phone applies updates.

My 6a runs A15 QPR1 without issue. I really like having the 80% charge limiter.
Legislation could fix that. Unfortunately, politicians can be and are bought, so that’s unlikely.

Not here yet for me, on a 6a. The article mentions the “Settings services app”, but doesn’t suggest which version reveals the feature. Mine is 1.1.0.680923945.sr.
Mine was also set to “none” in a Pixel 6a. I changed it just now.

If you work in the US, NDAs tied to severance are generally illegal.
Even so, I gave my last employer the benefit of silence for the amount of time my severance would have covered in regular salary. That time is now past.
Because Google will have stopped issuing OS updates to my 6a, I look forward to the 11a (with at least 256 GB storage), but not the likely pricing. If the 11a has a better modem or better battery life, that will help.
