  • We were not discussing that. It's about a label on DRM-free games, marking them as such.

  • Proton is best drop in replacement for the Google suite.

  • It's not. He is just the figurehead for their regime.

  • Yup. I'm not joining Discord servers to see announcements or for support. I avoid projects or products exclusively relying on it.

  • I just dont get why I would ever use Vortex when Mod Organizer 2 exists? It does a better job, with a better UI and less jank.

I thought the Nexus Mods App was being built to have an official mod manager that actually could go toe to toe with MO2.

Are they going to overhaul Vortex?

r2modman is still the best modding experience I have had outside of Minecraft.

  • I haven't had forced OneDrive on Windows 10, or Cortana.

It comes with shit installed that it shouldn't, but every thing I have uninstalled, has stayed that way.

Other than the shitty settings menu, Windows 10 ended up okay. You just had to tweak and work around some things, which you will be doing with Linux too.

Windows 11, on the other hand, is a complete pile of shit. I dual boot Linux now and use Windows less and less.

  • Individual plans are a rip-off yeah, Spotify is one of the only services I subscribe to and that's because I have a family plan, so it's not so easy for me to just cancel it, when others are relying on it. It works out at €3.40/month ($3.95) per member. The value there is really good.

Spotify lets you just listen to anything, I can put a playlist on and it will keep going forever and I have discovered many tracks I would have never listened to, or even known they existed. Buying music is great, but only when you know exactly what you want, I'm not a big music person, I like listening to it, but I don't really have a dialled in taste. Spotify is great for that.

There will obviously be a tipping point though when they inevitably raise the price too far and I will abandon ship.

  • "people like you"

People asking about their certification process?

Even if I was complaining, Sony should want to improve their process without the need of it.

  • I thought consoles had their long winded certification processes? Do they not catch these types of games there?

  • A popular but unofficial Android app by "catfriend" was weirdly taken over by someone with no credentials. So everyone lost trust in it and the new maintainer was very sketchy in their responses to concerns.

There's no controversy with the official project.

  • The final final update?

  • Wait until they rename Windows to CoPilot!

  • Maybe we should just be banning AI?

  • Yeah, I mean I still give them a go, but ultimately I think first person is better suited to shooters.

If Division 3 has a beta or whatever, I will probably try it too regardless. If the game is good enough even with TPS, then that would be great. I doubt it will be anything remarkable though, given Ubisoft's implosion.

  • Well yeah that's the thing though, you are filling in the blanks. I can't remember all the marketing material, I think they did cut a lot of the map though.

Even if they did manage to make it expansive and interesting enough, the third person would ruin it for me. It was clearly made with slow camera movement of controllers in mind.

  • Our low fertility rates are finally starting to catch up to us.

  • Yes, the whole reason they started on this game 11 years ago is because Mojang banned a whole bunch of MTX. Hypixel lost a lot revenue because of it (good, literally exploiting children) and went to make their own game.

Hytale will be drowned in MTX eventually.
