Not sure what there is to bite. I'm just trying to understand more clearly. I'm reading the article, it seems to be talking about how a German officer accidentally leaked some news about missiles. Is the boots on the ground part implied or something?
It's not company threatening, that's for sure. But that's big enough to show up on their annual report, and pull their profit margin down a point or two. That is very much enough to get their attention.
I don't get it. It's open source. Anybody can just look at the code. Unless you're talking about a closed-source binary blob, in which case chances are nobody will ever adopt it.
Isn't that essentially what articles like this are? They're spreading awareness of the dangers. Without getting into international politics, which is a murky thing
Not really doubting you, it's still the Internet here. There's always going to be people who belong in c/confidentlyincorrect. I just find it weird when people say they have proof. If you do, why not just show it from the get go?
