  • I don’t think sabotaging the product is a wise move if they ever will land a new job.

    It’s different from laying down work temporarily for a better bargain position, and asking users to support them with that, because it’s a bit different than a car factory that stops working immmediatly as a result.

    If car workers would go out of their way to destroy already produced cars or the machines, they wouldn’t last long at the bargain table.






  • The book wasn’t about Islam. It also wasn’t about Christianity. It was about the Dominion Theorcracy which resembles more what we see with the religious extremists in America.

    Edit: I would like to add that it also fits religious extremism in Islamic countries, but that’s not what the aim of the author was. She definitely meant America and their extremists. She even created a flag that looks awfully similar to the American flag.

    Dominion Theology is a group of Christian political ideologies that seek to institute a nation governed by Christians based on their personal understandings of biblical law. Extents of rule and ways of achieving governing authority are varied. For example, Dominion Theology can include theonomy, but does not necessarily involve advocating Mosaic law as the basis of government. The label is applied primarily toward groups of Christians in the United States.






  • Apparently they were primarily mad at the politicians, not the royals.

    Prime Minister Sánchez and the head of Valencian regional government, Carlos Mazón, joined the royal couple on the visit, but were swiftly evacuated as the crowd grew increasingly hostile.

    Spanish media reports that objects were hurled at Sánchez, while footage verified by the BBC appears to show stones being thrown at his car as he was driven away.

    After he left, the crowd chanted: “Where is Sánchez?”
