  • WhatsApp has some conveniences for me such as easy access to data. As far as I know most messengers hide data in some private location and allow limited access with great difficulty. Last I checked to save media from a chat I had to go to each media and select export manually.

    Edit: I am mainly a PCLinuxOS user, so not sure if that would work for you.
